FRWD is designed to activate you with a simple push of a button. The FRWD Recorder Unit is attached to the athlete's upper left arm or to his back. Just before the performance start recording by pressing the Recorder Key down. When you are done, press the Recorder Key again – and your whole performance is recorded. You can look at the information real time on your mobile phone while you're at it, and after the activity download the recorded data to the FRWD Replayer PC Software where the performance can be replayed, analyzed and compared. 4. How long does it take to learn to use FRWD? Not long; learning is easy. There is only one button on the FRWD Recorder Unit. The FRWD Replayer PC Software has a clear graphic interface and it is fun and simple to use. 5. What power source is used in the FRWD Recorder Unit? FRWD power supply is two normal or rechargeable AA size batteries (2xAA). 6. How long performances can be recorded with FRWD? Depends on what recording interval is used. The interval can be changed from the FRWD Replayer PC Software menu. The maximum recording time can be even 18 hours with a 6 second recording interval. 7. What does a virtual competition mean? The user can replay up to 5 performances simultaneously on the FRWD Replayer PC Software (using Race mode). You can compete against yourself or your friends. You and your friends can send and receive performance files via e-mail. 8. How to transfer the recorded performance to your computer? FRWD Outdoor Sports Computer F-series products use wireless Bluetooth technology to transfer information. FRWD Outdoor Sports Computer O-series packages include a data transfer cable to the computer’s serial port (RS-232). 9. In which countries can FRWD be used? All countries, all over the world. 10. How much does it cost to use FRWD? Using it is FREE. You do not pay anything for using it; just make sure to charge the batteries. 11. How accurate is FRWD? Is FRWD water resistant? The FRWD Recorder Unit is water resistant but not water proof. It is not recommended to exposure it constantly to exceptionally high moisture or heavy rain. 14. Does FRWD disturb an avalanche beeper? No, it doesnt. The devices can be used simultaneously. 15. How long does it take to fully charge the FRWD Batteries by using the FRWD Battery Charger? It takes approximately 15 hours. FRWD Battery Charger is a so called overnight charger.
